Since the foundation of our state, family farms have served as the backbone of our communities. Our land and its natural resources define Michigan and the members of Michigan Agri-Tourism Association (MATA) are committed to being good stewards of this wonderful gift.

Michigan Agri-Tourism Association (MATA) exists to:

• Advance Michigan agriculture by promoting the interests of owners and operators of Michigan farm markets and agri-tourism endeavors
• Encourage a profitable and sustainable farm marketing and agri-tourism industry in Michigan
• Represent the interests of Michigan farm markets and Michigan agri-tourism businesses in matters of state or national concern, and;
• To cooperate and coordinate efforts with other organization in achieving these purposes.
