WaterFire Vineyards tasting room in Kewadin
Visit WaterFire Vineyards in Kewadin for this special event!

Learn the basics of Fly Fishing from world-renowned Fly Fishing Instructor Jeff "Bear" Andrews while enjoying wine and charcuterie at WaterFire Vineyards.

Bear is a 3-time world record setter through the International Game Fish Association and is the youngest person to ever receive the Buz Busek Fly Tying award, the highest honor a fly tier can receive. Known for his educational skills and conservation focus, Bear is right at home at WaterFire's sustainably-farmed vineyards.

You will be greeted with a glass of wine before the class and will complete the evening with wine and a charcuterie spread. During the class, you will learn all the basics of Fly Fishing with the equipment provided. You will learn casting on "Soggy Dog" pond that lays down the hill from WaterFire's tasting room.

This class is designed for anyone who has ever had a curiosity about the sport and would be an excellent event to do with your partner, especially if you are looking for a new hobby together.

The event is expected to last two hours. Space is extremely limited so that instruction can be personalized for you. The cost for the evening is $120 per person and includes the instruction, two glasses of wine, and charcuterie. Waders will not be necessary, but you should wear clothes suitable for being out in nature at the edge of a wetland.
